“For everything there is a season…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
At Kol Ami, we walk through life together – celebrating moments of joy, supporting one another through sorrow, and marking every meaningful milestone as a sacred community.
From baby namings to B’nai Mitzvah, weddings to funerals, Kol Ami is here to uplift and support you every step of the way. We are honoured to be part of your journey.
Whether through a Brit Milah (covenant of circumcision) or a Brit Bat (covenant of a daughter), we joyfully welcome each new child into the Jewish community with blessings, warmth, and meaning.
Expecting? Mazal tov! Let’s plan something special – contact our office to learn more.
Becoming Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Kol Ami is a celebration of learning, growth, and Jewish identity. Students lead our Shabbat service, chant Torah and Haftarah, and deliver a personal D’var Torah with pride and confidence – surrounded by family, friends, and community.
Tutors and our Rabbi work closely with each student to help them shine.
After their B’nai Mitzvah, many continue as Madrichim (teacher assistants and student leaders). They also participate in engaging, age-appropriate discussions and learning – exploring Jewish values, grappling with big questions, and connecting Jewish wisdom to teen life.
Jewish learning doesn’t end at 13! Our Grade 10 students continue their journey through meaningful study and conclude the year by leading our joyful Erev Shavuot service together.
Under the chuppah, we celebrate love and commitment with joy, music, and tradition. Our rabbi officiates weddings throughout the GTA and warmly celebrates all Jewish couples, including same-sex unions.
In times of grief, Kol Ami is here with comfort and care. Our community supports mourners with dignified funerals, shiva coordination, and compassionate presence.
Our Chesed Committee helps ensure no one walks through loss alone.
