Planned Giving

Plan today. Impact tomorrow.

Planned Giving offers you a meaningful way to support Kol Ami’s future – often at no immediate cost to you. By making a commitment now for a future gift, you leave a legacy of Jewish life, learning, and community for generations to come.

What Is Planned Giving?

A planned gift is a future contribution arranged now – often as part of your estate planning – through your will, retirement fund, insurance policy, or other assets. Planned gifts can offer tax advantages and do not affect your current financial situation.

Ways to Make a Planned Gift

  • Bequests in your will (specific, residual, contingent, or through a testamentary trust)
  • Gifts of Life Insurance (by naming Kol Ami as beneficiary)
  • Charitable Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Trusts
  • Gifts through RRSPs/RRIFs
  • Gifts of Real Estate
  • Endowment Gifts ($50,000+ to create a named fund)

Kol Atid Legacy Society

Donors who make planned gifts automatically become members of the Kol Atid (“Voice of Our Future”) Legacy Society. This group is recognized for their foresight and commitment to the long-term strength and vibrancy of Kol Ami.
