High Holy Days

The High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at Kol Ami are a time for deep reflection, beautiful music, and meaningful connection. Our services are warm, musical, and participatory – led by our inspiring Rabbi, our gifted Cantorial Soloist, and our incredible volunteer choir.

We welcome you to join us in person or online as we come together to reflect, renew, and rejoice. For full details, including tickets for non-members, please visit our High Holy Days 5786/2025 page.

Jewish life doesn’t stop after the High Holy Days – we celebrate all year long! Our holiday observances are joyful, meaningful, and made for all ages. Check our calendar for upcoming events.

Sukkot

We celebrate with an outdoor service and festive community gathering in the sukkah. Many families also build their own sukkahs at home.

Simchat Torah

We dance with the Torah, sing our hearts out, and celebrate with food, music, and fun for the whole family. Yizkor is recited at morning services.

Chanukah

Our “Night of 1000 Lights” is a glowing musical celebration. Bring your menorah and join the light-filled joy.

Purim

Party games, Megillah reading, and our legendary Purim spiels – past themes include Grease, Glee, and more! It’s loud, it’s silly, and it’s a blast.

Pesach

We hold morning services on the first and seventh days (with Yizkor on the seventh. Need a place for seder? Call us – we’ll help.

Shavuot

We celebrate receiving the Torah with study, a delicious dairy oneg, and Confirmation led by our Grade 10 students. Yizkor is included in morning services.
